Dain Ti Hill @ Pavillion KL

Two Saturdays back, it was not just any Saturday but it was our King's Birthday and thus it was a public holiday throughout Malaysia. I had the intention of taking June to a nice dinner at night but only to be reminded that it was my cousin's 21st Birthday celebrations so my plans was sort-of ruined. Nevermind that, as it was a public holiday I was already expecting citizens of Malaysia to come all out to flood the already crowded shopping complexes on a weekend.

So without much thought, I just drove direct to Pavillion KL as whatever it is found here are more often than not, costlier. That is besides the fact that it is so huge that you would hardly find it congested in the shopping complex. Anyhow, since dinner plans was ruined we took a stroll around the restaurants in Pavillion in search for a good lunch.

As we pass by this restaurant called Dain Ti Hill, June told me that her friend had been hollering about this restaurant and that her friend always had her meals at the restaurant. So I assumed that it must be good la since her friend frequents it that much.. boy oh boy, was I wrong =(

There isn't really much variety and the quality of food is rather appalling that it is really like fast food meals ('cept that this is chinese and not burgers, chickens or hotdogs). I was outright surprised that food was served within 10minutes of placing our orders, heck it arrived even before our drinks was served. The food is nothing to shout about because I think even the next door Wong Kok Char Chan Teng would fair better (in terms of variety and taste). No doubt the interior design of the restaurant wins hands down but come on, with this kind of food, that is definitely my first and my last visit.
