June's Graduation @ Nikko Hotel

June's Graduation is just one day after the MAA 15th Anniversary Annual Dinner. Early in the morning itself I got up to give directions to the Make Up Artist that was hired by June to come over to my place. She put on a pretty good make up and also styled June's hair. Overall June was pretty satisfied with her work :)













As we were running a bit late, I sprinted to Nikko Hotel using the KL-Putrajaya highway but unfortunately got lost around KL because of some stupid directions that I got previously. I did manage to find the place, but was late for almost 45minutes. It did not help that there was a bloody long queue to the registration counter to collect the tickets, graduation robe and ceremony agenda. Either way, after putting on her graduation robe, she wasted no time in searching for her friends and grabbing them for pictures :) As all students are informed to enter the Grand Ballroom as the Graduation Ceremony would begin, I went to Old Town White Coffee opposite Nikko Hotel for my lunch as I did not want to enter the hall. I met June's parents at the Lobby and passed them their tickets.












You must've noticed those big yellow sunflower bouquet that I got her for her graduation ;) Anyhow, as I was having lunch, coincidentally Ash came into the same restaurant so I invited him to join me for lunch as we chat like shutterbugs. Ash is Radiance's boyfriend. Radiance is June's classmate. After lunch, we went back to Nikko Hotel and that was when June's friends arrived. They are none other than Yan Fay, Hui Ting, Hee Siang and his gf. We waited outside the ballroom until the ceremony finished and the graduates to walk out from the hall. After the graduates were done with their group photography, all hell break lose as they go around to take pictures with their family, lecturers, classmates, college mates and friends. So did we XD











After much camwhoring around Nikko Hotel, June returned the robe to the counter. To be honest, it was quite ridiculous to be required to return the robes within 1 hour after the graduation ceremony as the graduates then would not be able to go to photo studios outside to have their studio photoshoots. Although there were booth set up to snap these studio shoots there, the prices were outrageous. We left for Pavillion KL to have drinks at Starbucks Coffee to catch up on good times while waiting for time to pass so that we can head to this corner shack by the road around Timesquare area for dinner that was recommended by Yan Fay. It was tasty nonetheless. We called it a day after dinner and return to our homes :) Congrats BB Wa Wa, wish you all the best and succeed in your future undertakings and great career path awaiting you ;)
